On August 5th, we concluded our flagship community mentorship program, PEER, after a successful 6-month collaboration with M3 @ Tampines and Woodlands. ✨
The event was graced by Senior Parliamentary Secretary Ministry of Health and Ministry of Law, and Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC, Ms Rahayu Mahzam, and Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC, Ms Mariam Jaafar.
PEER@Tampines celebrated mentees' wins and hard work with a memory walk. Mentors and mentees strolled down memory lane, reminiscing fondly of the time they've spent together over the months. We amped up the excitement with a sustainability workshop focused on upcycling, where they used creatively repurposed materials, crafting eco-tips into reality and igniting innovative green ideas. The session wrapped up with a mind-boggling magic show, leaving everyone in awe and wearing ear-to-ear grins.
PEER@Woodlands squads got the chance to participate in an amazing race where it was an adrenaline-fueled adventure that brought out their true champion spirits! After which, they gathered in their squad and shared heartfelt stories of growth, friendships forged, and hurdles conquered. 🏁
