A total of 13 young employees from various backgrounds are leading the new leadership of MENDAKI Club (MClub) for the next three-year term.
SINGAPORE: A total of 13 young employees from various backgrounds are leading the new leadership of MENDAKI Club (MClub) for the next three-year term.
The appointment of the 12th Executive Committee (ExCo) follows the club's 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at The Exchange, Singapore Land Tower, on March 7.
The new ExCo members are made up of young employees from sectors such as public service, social work, technology and consultancy.
Leading the leadership as the new President of the 12th ExCo is Ms. Yuli Ardini Affandi who takes over from Mr. Danial Hakim.
Ms Yuli will be supported by Ms Azfarihin Aziz and Mr Nur Hakim Nor Halim who have been appointed as the new Vice-President.

Commenting on the direction of the new committee, Ms Yuli said the 12th ExCo would focus on ensuring that the MClub programme continues to benefit the community, while ensuring that the club remains purposeful, effective and ready for future needs.
"We are committed to shaping today's volunteers to become future leaders of the Malay/Muslim community through leadership development programmes and networking opportunities," said Ms Yuli.
Among other priorities include streamlining operations and stronger knowledge management.
Outside of her role at MClub, Ms. Yuli is a Senior Development Partner at Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), where she supports local enterprises in the areas of productivity, internationalization and workforce development.
Since joining EnterpriseSG in 2021, he has also been involved in several international initiatives including the launch of Singapore, a Singapore-themed restaurant concept that is the first in London as well as various trade engagements between Singapore and Europe.
The holder of a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) has also served as a member of the MClub Exco and the club's volunteer management director.

Commenting on his tenure as MClub President which is now coming to an end, Mr Danial said it was "an honour to be able to serve alongside a team dedicated to empowering the community".
Over the past term, the 11th Exco has strengthened the foundation of MClub and sharpened its focus on making an impact on the community, shared Encik Danial.
"I am confident that under Yuli's leadership, the 12th Exco will continue this momentum and take MClub to a higher level," he said.
Under his leadership, the MClub programme has benefited around 9,000 youths — about 15 per cent more than in the previous three years.
To ensure the sustainability of the volunteer group without affecting the scale and quality of the programme, the number of volunteers has also been adjusted to around 300 mentors, organisers and ad hoc volunteers per year, compared to more than 400 people per year in 2021 and 2022.
