Collegiate GPS: Your Beacon to Success!

MENDAKI Club's Collegiate Symposium in collaboration with Republic Polytechnic aims to bring tertiary students together in the spirit of learning for the sharing of experiences and perspectives by professionals in various fields. By providing a platform to discuss and highlight pertinent issues relevant to them, the Symposium aims to help students chart their own path towards developing themselves into tomorrow's young professionals who not only excel in their respective fields but also develop a strong sense of community conscience.

This year, Collegiate Symposium aims to provide students with knowledge on taking ownership of their collegiate years as well as knowing and maximizing their opportunities, with the tagline - Collegiate GPS: Your Beacon to Success!

Here's what you can expect from the Symposium:

A panel discussion with expert speakers from various fields sharing with us the different paths one is able to take on or adopt during and/or after their collegiate years with the aim of understanding these routes better and why and how these routes had brought these speakers to their ultimate success.
An opportunity to choose from three informative and interactive parallel break-out sessions of Guides, Paths and Strategies, depending on your specific individual preferences. In Guides, you will learn to be your own guru by being able to recognise the opportunities around you and maximising your own strengths. Paths celebrates non-conventionality and non-conformity by allowing you to pick up skills that you would need if your idea of a successful career is taking the risk of venturing the road less travelled. Strategies, on the other hand, will guide you in overcoming your personal challenges and setbacks in your pursuit, holding on to the belief that there is no failure in life, only feedback.
A networking tea which offers a platform to connect with other fellow undergraduates and professionals of the different fields.
