Suria Mohd considers herself a nutritionist by qualification but an educator at heart. She was a column writer for Berita Harian and provides her expert advice in numerous nutrition and health programmes, as well as business mentorship in Singapore and Malaysia. She also speaks for the empowerment of women. To which she devotes her life to one Mission: To Inspire, Transform and Empower the lives of others'.
Apart from being a true entrepreneur, Suria Mohd is also a talented public speaker with an internationally acclaimed best-selling book "Wake Up-Live the Life your Love-Living in Abundance", which was co-authored by the famous Anthony Robbins and Dr Wayne Dyer. Currently she is in the midst of publishing her 2nd International book, "Speed Slim-The One Second Weight Loss", and have others in line such as "Stop Staving Yourself" and "Start Feeding with Love".
When she first started her first business in 2003, Suria Mohd was 20kg overweight after the birth of her 2nd child but she managed to shed off the weight through simple nutrition know-how, and without relying on costly (and perhaps even unsafe) slimming pills or visits to slimming centres. She became fondly known as "The local Weight Loss Guru" within the local Malay community, helping the local makciks to shed off their weight fast through various community health programs. She has since conducted over hundreds of talks at government agencies, corporate and organisations such as the Singapore Health Promotion Board, Petronas Malaysia, Community Clubs, National Library Board, National Parks to name a few.
Her biggest lesson in entrepreneurship, to which she shares, is that the path to success can be less painful with the right business education and mentorship. Wanting to share her experience, she has since started several business coaching programmes & workshops such as "Show me the Money - 7 Days Passion to Profits Secrets", "Wealth oh Wealth", "Million Dollar Marketing & Business Secrets Intensive" to help other aspiring entrepreneurs start their businesses profitably on the fast track while avoiding all the deadly business mistakes.
Being a mother of two and a former school teacher, her passion to inspire the young has lead her to create "the Genius IQ (IQ Pintar)" enrichment programme which has since expanded across to Malaysia and Latin America. She has also conceptualised "Train the Trainers programme" to nurture passionate trainers. Her passion unmistakably lies firmly in teaching & training.
