With twenty-three years of experience in architectural & infrastructure development to construction detailing and local authority submission, Annuar Baharom was involved in various development projects, ranging from small residential to large-scale mixed developments across countries like Thailand, Turkey and Singapore. He started as a Technician in 1987 and to date works as a Senior Technical Associate with CPG Consultants Pte Ltd.
Annuar Baharom believes strongly that any design concept, no matter how good, must be coupled with a good understanding of the requirements of the local authorities' dos and don'ts.
Annuar Baharom started working for CPG Consultants since mid-2000. He sees through any projects from conception to the eventually construction. Currently, his scope of work involves an integrated commercial & residential development, LTA Design & Build KPE, Kim Chuan Circle Line MRT Depot, A&A to 12 MRT Stations and as well as PUB Active, Beautiful & Clean Waterways projects development projects.
In addition, Annuar Baharom doubles as a freelance emcee in his free time. He used to deejay part-time for Mediacorp Warna's 94.2FM from 2002 to early 2006. With that four years of experience, Annur Baharom was involved in numerous voice-overs projects, radio and television commercials, scriptwriting, and has even emceed (and continue to host) various private functions such as 'Dinner and Dance' for companies, weddings and formal protocol dinners organised by Ministries, Companies, Organisations and Community Centres.
Similar to his vision in construction and design, he considers it imperative to work closely with the client, and to have a good understanding of the local traditions and customs. This, he feels, will add zest to any occasions or programmes that he is hosting.
