Reporter, The New Paper, Project Eyeball and Streats – covered the general news and sports beat. Highlights include covering the 2001 Singapore General Election and the 2003 Vietnam South East Asian Games. S-League Story of the Year winner in 2003.

2004-2006 – Platts, McGraw-Hill
Editor, covering light ends and fuel oil. Platts is a global news and price reporting agency for petroleum products.

2006-2007 – Horizon Terminals
Assistant Commercial Manager. Majority owned by UAE’s Emirates National Oil Company. Was responsible for the commercial operations of the oil storage terminal on Jurong Island.

2007-Current – Mitsui & Co. Commodity Risk Management
Vice President, Asia Energy Marketing. MCRM is an oil trading company and my responsibilities include looking after the energy hedging needs of Asia based customers, such as refiners, producers, airlines, ship owners, power generation companies and other professional oil trading counterparties.

A keen sportsman, I used to play football (NUS) and rugby (Singapore) competitively. Am currently actively involved with the Raffles Rugby Union.

Married and am now trying my best to pass on my sporting prowess to my one year old daughter.
