Message from MClub's President to Graduates' Tea 2011 participants
To all of you as new graduates,
First and foremost, I offer my heartfelt congratulations.
As I look back now on my first graduation ceremony at the University of Western Australia, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment at having completed my psychology degree. I shared my happiness with my parents, who reminded me that my horizons had just widened. I remember being excited, yet anxious, as I began a new chapter in my life.
As you venture into your new lives, some of you will be seeking jobs, considering post-graduate studies or perhaps starting a business. Whatever your next step is as a new graduate, you must always try to find the best path that will ensure your success.
As I thought about this message, I asked myself what strategic secrets I could share with you that would jump-start you on your unique path to success. As there is no definite answer to this question, my team and I decided to organize a Graduates' Tea for you and your fellow graduates to help you decide that next step.
Our theme for this year is "Mastering Fundamentals, Conquering Pinnacles".
We hope that you will attend this event and gain some useful information from our speakers that guides you onto your path to success. As a new graduate, you have many paths to choose from and many new opportunities. Our hope is that this event will help you find your own path.
Mendaki Club aims to nurture all of your aspirations. This year's Graduates Tea will therefore be an afternoon of networking with other new graduates and with young professionals who are already established in their chosen fields.
In closing, congratulation to all of you, and I look forward to seeing you at the Graduates' Tea that will be held on 30 July 2011 at Marina Mandarin.
Regards,
Nur Dian Mohd Rasid
President, Mendaki Club
