President's Message

Nur Dian Mohd Rasid

To all of you as new graduates,

First and foremost, I offer my heartfelt congratulations.

As I look back now on my first graduation ceremony at the University of Western Australia, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment at having completed my psychology degree. I shared my happiness with my parents, who reminded me that my horizons had just widened. I remember being excited, yet anxious, as I began a new chapter in my life. I'm sure you also would experience similar feelings too.

To celebrate your success, Mendaki Club has organized a Graduates Tea for you on the 23rd June 2012. The theme this year is "Dream. Discover. Define. Develop."

In Mendaki Club, we hope that you would be able to nurture your aspirations by first Dreaming and identifying your ambition, Discover the various ways of achieving your dream and at the same time discovering more about yourself. After which, you Define who you are and Develop yourself further".

This year's graduates tea promises to provide you with useful information that will guide you onto your path to success and develop yourself further beyond the academics.

As a new graduate, you have many paths to choose from and many new opportunities. Our hope is that this event will help you find your own path of success.

As you venture into your new chapter in life, some of you will be seeking jobs, considering post-graduate studies or perhaps starting a business. Whatever your next step is as a new graduate, you must always try to find the best path that will ensure your success and to shines above the rest.

This year's Graduates Tea will therefore be an afternoon of networking with other new graduates and with young professionals who are already established in their chosen fields.

In closing, congratulation to all of you, and I look forward to seeing you at the Graduates' Tea on 23 June 2012 at Sheraton.

Regards,

Nur Dian Mohd Rasid
President, Mendaki Club
